Baldonnel Completion in NE B. C. - Conventional Completion vs. MaxPERF Completion
11-31 Well (CONVENTIONAL COMPLETION)
No inflow after perforating the Baldonnel under balanced with tubing conveyed perforating gun. Performed three 15% acid squeezes - total acid volume equals 6m3. The well subsequently flow tested @ 9.0E3m3/D @ 1800 kPa. Performed a 10m3, 28% acid frac - well flow tested @ 14.0E3m3/D @ 1000kPa and was put on production.
09-25 Well (MaxPERF COMPLETION)
Completed 6 tunnels in the Baldonnel formation with the MaxPERF tool using fresh water as the operating fluid. Pulled 2 swabs and the well flowed @ 9.7E3m3/D @ 80 kPa. Performed a 6m3 nitrified, 28% acid squeeze - the well flow tested at 35.0E3m3/D @ 4000 kPa and further pressure transcient analysis indicated a skin of -4.
